Fragmentasi entitas dalam ekosistem pencarian terjadi ketika satu figur atau entitas tunggal terindeks ke dalam beberapa Machine ID yang terpisah. Untuk mengatasi hal ini dan memaksa mesin otomatis Google Knowledge Graph melakukan penggabungan ke satu entitas utama, diperlukan penerapan struktur data Schema.org menggunakan properti sameAs.
